Anyone seen the Hank Haney video that proves to fix your slide in 3 easy steps. Been watching this video where here keeps saying he’s gonna show it but it’s like 6 mins in and he’s he’s still selling it

Yes, I’ve watched the video. It’s pretty straight forward information.

He and other teachers believe in teaching you to hook and ball and straighten it out.

You could have watched for another 5 minutes and still not gotten to the fix.

Ask my dumb arse how I know.

Having watched The Haney Project, he’s probably just going to tell you to take the club away to the outside and loop it back under on the downswing.

If I had to choose between a duck hook a slice, I’d choose a slice every fricking day

Just keep your shoulder closed, and don't come OTT. No more slice

I had a nice slice that I slowly started controlling into a fade. One day I hit a few draws and chased that for like a month, ruining my drive.

Just now slowly getting it back left to right.

How do I keep my shoulders closed?

Check your grip. If you’re right hand is too far on top of the club, it will open your shoulders at address. Just a guess . Hard to know for sure.

Tee up a 7 iron a couple of inches and focus on hitting just the ball. This promotes you swinging from the inside and sweeping the ball off the tee. Use a mid or short iron to groove this swing and it should pay off in correcting your slice and promoting a draw.

This was huge for me. My left hand was very weak. Now, I can weaken it to try to hit a fade. It doesn’t always work, but I try.

I use an alignment stick and shove it into a ball basket a foot or so behind the ball and make sure to swing under it. Also will add a head cover to the outside of the ball.

Essentially the water bottle trick.
