FYI, they don’t take reservations over Facebook. You have to go to the actual website. It works as described there.

I did go to the website

Website is lacking in general. But it's partially due to being semiprivate and giving members priority. Members have access to online booking and can book 6 days out and guests without members get 2 days. They can get away with that because of how large the membership is.

I got ya. Well, I sent them an email requesting a tee time last week, and they sent back an email saying I would get a confirmation or denial in 48 hours. 5 days have passed and nothing.

Don't use the website, it's not good. Call the golf shop, 225.667.6744 they can hook you up.

I've played the Bayou 4 ball, Evangeline 4 ball, Cajun 4 ball, Prien Lake 4 ball, and Money Hill 4 ball. I don't remember anything standing out about the way the tournament was run at Greystone compared to the others. I honestly don't know how anything would have stood out to me. I thought Evangeline and Prien were the best.

Did you play Prien last weekend?

If money wasn't an object, I would play in every single one of these good 4balls. Entry fees eat me alive however. I just have to pick and choose for now. We are signed up for the Cajun next month. Will be my first experience.

J-town Showdown is next weekend as well. Two good ones on the same weekend.

Is the membership growing lately at Greystone? Last I checked, the local associate rate was around $200/month which isnt bad. Cant remember if there was an initiation fee.

Yes. Definitely still growing. No initiation fee. Base is single plan includes pool for the family, too. Around $350 if you add range and cart.

Update for the tournament: 7 flights of 8. 56 teams. Just two spots left and they will take 6 alternates.

If they give away a hat like Ell’s I’d definitely sign up to play. Talk about goat tourney hosts ever.

Evangeline 4 ball, Cajun 4 ball, Prien Lake 4 ball,

Where are all of these?

You need to come play the Nickel next year at Bayou Bend.
Our hats aren’t automatic panty droppers like at Greystone, but the tournament is fun.

And the beer is included.
