Had a friend highly recommend the GolfTec lesson plans, but I've seen some people on here break them down a little. Whats the consensus?

It's going to be very coach dependent.

One thing i will say is the camera setup is really good and allows you to really break down your swing, so that even in sessions without a coach you can work on swing flaws.

I took a few lessons, some of them were very helpful, some of them it felt like they just wanted to get me in and out.

I agree, it really depends on the instructor at Golftec.

About 2 years ago, I got a bad case of the shanks, went to 6 lessons at Golftec and it didn't help me at all. An old driving range teacher fixed my issue with a small bucket.

But I have a buddy that went to a different Golftec and his results are incredible.

Interview the instructor is the best bet.

I work with a guy who is a former GolfTec employee. The "tech" is pretty good and depending on the instructor could be a great experience BUT, they are taught to SELL, SELL, SELL. Push you to buy more lessons, tune-ups, etc. They get incentives selling customers more packages. He got tired of the sales and left. Just be aware of that.

The only true value was the practice sessions where you could get yourself on video with instant feedback and being able to draw lines on the screen and work on things seeing it all in slow motion real time. The lessons are shite. But that’s what they sell you.

I’ve heard a nightmare story about the Corporate location. I was literally heading there the week after. I’m pursuing other options now and there are plenty.
