Some buddies and I are looking at a Spring golf trip. Starting to look at RTJ in Alabama, Audubon Trail and even Hot Springs Village.
Anybody got any thoughts or recommendations?

RTJ Prattville, try to get one of the Oster houses.

HSV is great. So many great courses in a concentrated area, and you don’t deal with huge crowds.

Audubon is a joke. RTJ is legit.

I have done all 3, most recently Hot Springs Village. It's further away from Baton Rouge but worth the drive. Great courses but the Village itself is strange. We rented a house on one of the courses; there is literally no place to eat inside the Village; you have to drive a good way to get outside and find a restaurant. The courses were great. Lots of elevation.
RTJ is always fun, especially Rock Creek in Fairhope and Magnolia Grove in Mobile (36 holes); of course Kiva Dunes and Peninsula in Gulf Shores are great.
Audubon would be my 3rd choice; can't go wrong with Carter Plantation, Tamaka Trails, English Turn, and 1 or 2 others.
So, depending on where your group is originating from, if you are willing to drive up to Hot Springs Village, all the courses are within 15 minutes of one another, but there is ZERO things to do outside of playing golf.
