All depends on what time of year you play as well. A poster/BRCC member was blown away by CCL last May

Eh. That's any course. And greatly depends on how the grounds crew decides to tackle the dormant grass which can sometimes be guesswork. Greystone put rye on the par 3 tees and they look fantastic right now. And they did right by the greens too which have handled this winter better than I've ever seen them especially considering the two hard, long freezes. Already, they're looking healthy (rain has helped obviously). The rough and fairways are as down and tight as I've ever seen them though. I'd actually rather be in the rough right now.

That being said, I need to get back on LCC. Like you said, it's a great layout.

I’m talking about condition. Coppermill has the BEST layout in the state, but the condition is that of hot garbage

You really need to get out and play more golf.

Reminds me of the Audubon Golf Trail course in Toledo Bend, Cypress something I think. It’s probably the prettiest course in the state but is always in horrible shape.

So how does Black Bear go from #1 to off the list in a few years?

Did they ever finish the bunker project they were working on?
