A Bridgestone rep was at our local shop recently. He asked be to do some kind of fitting. I said, sure. He had me hit my ball of choice(Pro-V1) with a driver, then he chose a Bridgestone ball he thought would possibly perform better. In work clothes and swinging an unfamiliar club had me swinging slow (mid 90s)and hitting fades which I almost never do. Anyway, The B-RXs had almost identical ball speeds and launch as the Pro-V1, but had less spin. He thought I might get a few more yards out of it. I got a free sleeve and will do my best to compare.

Wouldn't compare to the high dollar balls, but the Pinnacle Softs were surprisingly likeable. Got a free sleeve a while back and only played with them because I was forced to, but they had good feel.

Anybody ever hit Zero Friction ZF Distance? Found one the other day never heard of. Looked em up, its legit. Said with 8 iron go farther than ProV1's.

Two piece distance ball. It's going to be shite around the greens. It will suck the fun out of golf. Last thing I need is for my iron shots to actually fly longer.

Has anyone played the new Titleist AVG? It sounds like a ball that would fit my game.

i like the 4 piece Costco Kirkland ball. Great performer and can't beat the price. I still have a dozen new and also buy them 5A used. I used to play a ProV1 and will not go back!

Vice Tour.

Cheap enough and good enough for me.

Nobody else plays them so I never have to mark them.

I play the Srixon Z-star and XV. I played the Srixon soft feel this weekend and they hit really good. I was surprised at the distance and spin I got out of the soft feel.

Been using Titleist AVX for the past 2 months and really like them. Missiles off the tee with the feel of Pro Vs around and on the greens
