Played Gleannloch Pines last week and I was amazed at how well the course conditions were.
The entire course was plush and for the guest price of $60.00 it was a great deal.
Hoping to be able to make it back.

I used to play in the Bechtel tournament out there. Still have 27 holes?

Yeah, don’t remember the two nines that we played.
But the course was in great shape..from Tee to Green.

Have played in a handful of alumni tournaments and just random weekend rounds there. It has vastly improved over the last 5-10 years.

I also tend to play a big time fade (slice, if you wanna be a dick about it HA!), so the wide open/width of the fairways make it enjoyable. One of the 9s has a little more tree trouble than the others but I don’t remember the name of that 9.

Overall I give it a 7/10 in terms of having an enjoyable round.

The Augusta Pines member that got us on said that Augusta was in bad shape currently. He was amazed at the condition of Gleanloch.
However, he did mention that the owners brought over the Superintendent from Gleanloch to August recently to get it turned around.
Just an FYI.

Thanks for the heads up. How was the pace of play at Gleannloch?

Tee Time was on a Sunday at 9:30am..
Pace of play was fantastic, never waited.
It did not seem crowded at all...but it was blazing hot. I can’t imagine that the course will be able to sustain those conditions with this heat.
Fairways were super plush, rough was thick and the greens were nice.
