Did Fennwood go fully private? I havent been out there in a LONG time. Fun little layout.

I think it’s certain days of the week, maybe weekends, that are members only. Could be wrong but I’m sure someone else can confirm.
I grew up in Zachary and Fennwood is still the course I’ve played more times than anywhere else. Played there a few months ago and it was exactly how it always was. Greens are in pretty good shape but it’s still yard grass for fairways.

This is accurate. I'd call the greens better than pretty good (at least the last time I played there), but the fairways are exactly that, yard grass. Decent job with different tees for each 9, but there are very few interesting holes on the course.

I’ve played it a handful of times with a guy I work with that’s a member. Greens are really good and their elevation adds to the difficulty. It is what you would expect from a 50+ year old neighborhood course. Bar and the people there were always great and they hve some good tournaments with great food and payouts.

Greens are amazing. Tourneys are fun. Looking forward to the two man scrambles this year
