Went to the senior tour trny in Houston a couple of years ago and this kid was bank fishing on number 16 at The Woodlands. It was early in the morning and none of the pros had made it to the hole yet. Was walking back from 18 to catch the first playing group and here was this kid jigging on the bank for spawning bass. Catches about a five pounder as we walked up. I took a picture for him and asked if he does this a lot and does he live nearby. He said all the time and lives a few blocks away. Let the fish go.

At Money Hill, the homeowners feel as if the fairway is a park for walking their dogs. They don't acknowledge you or the fact that you're playing golf. Then, when you fire a shot across the bow, they get all pissy and wanna have you kicked off the course. It's comical.

Don't get me started on the kids with their jacked up carts and 12 inch woofers blasting Puffy and Biggie trying to catch bass by #16. That shite cost me 3 strokes yesterday.

There's a muni course here where people think the cart path is a jogging trail. It can get pretty frustrating.

I doubt it was the kids and music.

I was at a very nice course in the Dallas area recently. A guy just walking dogs down the cart path. It made me feel like maybe idiots were everywhere and not just in Louisiana. Although it was Dallas so the guy could have been from Louisiana.

Non golfer intrusion of walkers, joggers, is a common problem especially in golf course/ residential developments .

When confronted with the potential liability issues their presence raises interlopers always demure that they would never hold the course liable....
UNTIL THEY GET HIT WITH A GOLF BALL, or trip ove a drain, etc.

It doesn't help the golf course mgt if they stock the lakes with fish as many do!

They put a jogging path around Ft. Polls golf course years ago. On a few holes, the cart path and jogging path intersect. You would be amazed at how many people get sidetracked and end up in the middle of the golf course.

I often see some mid-city hipsters using the cart path at Webb as a jogging trail. And the kids that fish in the pond at #8 can be a pain in the arse. Some of them have actually not moved when I was set to tee off. I wouldn't trust Tiger in his prime not to accidentally skull one and skim it across the pond, let alone some middle-aged dude wearing gym shorts and has a 20 handicap (me at Webb)
