Can't wait. Seems like a lifetime since I've played on dry ground

Walked Beaver Creek this morning. It was cold (never broke 50 degrees) with a 2-3 club wind. Course is in really nice shape. It’s more soft than soggy. Didn’t get any roll in the fairways, but they were plush. Greens were rolling fast and true. They were in much better shape than when I played there in July, especially 13 and 14.

Shot 39-40 for a 79. 11 pars and 7 bogeys. Not thrilled, but not mad about it. The wind and cold was tough today.

Oakwing again yesterday. The greens were as fast as a fart with no underwear. 41/45. 36 putts. Two birdies and a bunch of doubles.

77 at Kiva Dunes. Best driving day in a long time. Missed only 2 fairways and made lone birdie from adjacent fairway on a short par 4. 1 birdie, 1 double and a shitload of pars.

86 at LCCC 45/41. First round since aug 31 so not mad about it. Good to be back out since hunting season ended.

39 on the front at Beaver. Considering the wind and the fact that I took no warm up putts or swings and my kids were blaring Disney hits the entire round, I don't think it was that bad of a day.

Santa was rolling quick today. The wind was fun. That course continues to raise my handicap.

Shot a 71 (par 62) at Audubon on Saturday, but damn I left some shots out there. Don't think I've ever struck the ball that well. Probably could have been my best round ever if I didn't have a mini collapse on 18. Also missed 3/4 short birdie puts, but did hit about a 65ft birdie putt. All in all it was a perfect day to be outside on the course to close out February.
