100%.

Also, Tenfold, your badge will have to be shown at all times (no tickets there - they are referred to as badges), so I suggest getting a badge holder and lanyard and placing the badge in that (that's also where I keep my ID, CC, and cash). I toss the spectator guide in the chair sleeve.

The Masters chairs are small...so keeping things out of your back pockets is useful.

Check the ticket exchange. I have some Tuesday practice round tickets I might be looking to get rid of as I am on the fence about going.

Very excited to have this trip with my son. It’s his dream trip and I can’t wait to watch him soak up the experience. Thank you all for the helpful comments and a BIG thanks to Poppy201 for meeting with my son and I to give us his take on Augusta and the for the Masters apparel. Heckuva good guy.

Trip Update:
I now fully understand and appreciate what so many on this thread and others from around the world mean when they say there is no place like the Masters. Mere words can not fully express or describe how amazing and truly special of a place is.
We arrived at the gates shortly after 6 on Friday morning. Most folks went directly to the gift shop but we went to the course opening. Once they released people onto the course we headed directly to the 12th hole. There was a small gift stand where we bought chairs and placed them at the tee box on 12. We were in the second row back.
From this point we had concessions and hung out in Amen Corner for several hours.. Holes 12 and 13 is like heaven on earth. It was such a special moment watching my son eat the pimento cheese sandwich, egg sandwich, breakfast sandwich and cookie. Yes, teenagers can do these things!! lol.
From there we started walking the course, hiking if you will. We visited the south area of the course and hung out until the players came around. We were able to see Couples, Watson, Scotty and his incredible chip shot, and many other players.
My son was able to use and make calls on a touch phone. It was his first time and I had to show him how it works. He did not know how to hang it up. Yes the little things we experienced.
He really enjoyed the gift store. I think he bought 7 shirts, 8 hats, 2 quarter zips, mini Gnome, flags, towels and many other small items. Collecting cups was also a prize.

Saturday was probably the best day of both our lives. We set up chairs on the 18th hole. We were in the second row behind the photographers.
We walked the entire course, all 18 holes and visited pretty much every square inch that was allowed. By 10 a.m we had travels over 5 miles and over 13 miles for the day.
The highlight was with out a doubt when the leaders came around on 18.
We were stationary for about 4 hours. We were 6 feet from Rory after his final putt and were able to experience the Roar after Bryson made his incredible putt. Bryson stood right in front of us the entire time.
This was definitely the highlight of the trip. We also made it on ESPN. Had several people text us and said the saw us on tv.
All in all it was better than a dream. It was a huge connection to my son and a lifelong memory for the both of us. I am so grateful for the opportunity to share this experience with him.
He is already planning our next trip. Unfortunately, he does understand the financial cost. I hope to go again with him and maybe one day we get to make more Masters memories. Appreciate ever single contribution to this thread.
God bless you all.

One last thing. Thank God for the no phone policy. Everyone was engaged and it kept our dialogue intact all weekend. The Masters is everything right in this world. No unruly behavior, proper attire, clean facilities, friendly people, dedicated staff and so forth and so on.

That’s awesome, man! Sounds like a memory that will last a lifetime. Hope to do the same with my sons soon before they have families of their own.

Find a way to make it happen. It’s really one of those things that will make lasting memories and something neither one of you will ever forget.
