Yep. I average right around 230 and I feel like I am right on average. So the 220 makes sense to me

Waiting is right answer for 90% of the circumstances. If you can fly it on the green, NEVER hit. If you can roll it up (dry conditions) then let it fly if it's you only waiting to hit and everyone else is laying up. AND, if your group is waiting, then you can likely make up any lost time with no issues on the next hole or two.

Actually drove #1 at Carter last weekend based on dry conditions and a big bounce. No harm no foul.
