Early release of hands
What did you do to stop an early release?

re: Early release of hands
Hands up, rotate, and keep the butt of the grip face the ball as long as possible

re: Early release of hands
Rotate your right knee and hip around toward the target, shifting weight into the left foot as fast as you can, making that your first move in the downswing. Early release comes from hanging back on the back foot and the arms and club are the first things to move.

Make sure you cast your arms away from your body early in the downswing, and be sure to move your head laterally a good bit.

Then get a lesson from a pro.

Early release is an effect. Gotta find the root cause and that could be damn near anything

re: Early release of hands
The DST trainer club helped me with my early release a few years ago and I still use it every now and then on the range when I feel like I'm not getting enough lag. Lately though I've just been feeling like I'm keeping my hands up and concentrating on rotating my hips (not sliding), and that rotation plus transition of weight to my left foot drags the club down and around into the ball. Loosen your grip pressure and try to feel like you're swinging with your hips and body instead of your arms.
