Looking to switch drivers...generally a long hitter so would like to gain more accuracy.

Cobra drivers have great reviews...seems like the ltd pro has rave reviews.

Anybody use and have recommendation for a driver in the cobra line?

Thanks

My buddy demoed the F9 the other day. It’s a hot driver. With the right shaft, it should be a great driver. If I didn’t like my current driver, the F9 would be at the top of my list. No BS.

1 thing to think about: all of the new gear drops in February. Cobra is replacing the F9. I would wait and get it cheaper.

Just because it's the latest and "greatest" dont mean it's better.

I have heard good things about the f7 and f9.

Hit a cobra amp when I first started playing and could absolutely rope a golf ball. Switch to taylormade and just hasn't been as good.

Thanks for the heads up!

Since you say you already hit the ball long, have you tried finding the right shaft for your swing?

The right shaft would lead to tighter dispersion on your drives.

Took to golf naturally about four years ago and taught myself....I haven't ever been fitted just have gone with the flow.

Probably worth while to get that done.

Ping G410 is a beast. Get the right shaft and enjoy hitting from the short grass.

What club and shaft are you currently playing?

It's crazy but the 10-20 grams and stiffness of the shaft make all the difference in the world.

Cobra F9 was rated #1 along side of Callaway last year by a lot of independent testing. Their new one hits the door in January and will probably be real good and worst case the F9 will be at a real good price so you cant go wrong with the 9 or whatever their new one is

When you say "accuracy" what does that mean to you?

We talking about you hitting fairways but just the wrong side? Or are you just trying to hit the fairway?

I wouldn't purchase a new driver if you're simply trying to find the fairway consistently. You can do that via lesson or proper shaft fitting.

Yes, and if you give any of the review sites credit, it is also one of the most forgiving/accurate ... with the correct shaft.

The 410 is pretty much the 400 but with a 2005 era movable weight.

Save some cash on the head and get a 400 but with the right shaft. I have the 400LST and it's a cannon.

What’s good for someone else might not be good for you. Spend the money and get fitted for a head/shaft combo. Make your driver fit your swing instead of manipulating your swing to fit your driver. If you plan on getting lessons anytime soon, do that first, then get fitted once your swing is consistent.

Get fitted. And don’t be shy about possibly a short shaft.

Completely changed my game. I’ve swung a 44” shaft for 7-8 years now. My accuracy has grown leaps and bounds. Distance never suffered either, I assume from hitting the sweet spot more often.

I play an r11s with a 60g stiff flex shaft

I know you said you were looking for more accuracy, do you have a consistent miss left or right?

Do you happen to know your swing speed? Generally anything above 110mph you would most likely benefit from an X-Stiff shaft. But there's also the variable of swinging a 60g shaft vs. a heavier 70-75g shaft
