Thinking of playing there in late May. Worth the $260 for a meal or two included?

Not really. It's decent and has a bar that can be fun with solid scenery.

Course is solid and usually in good shape but its about $100 overpriced.

Pretty standard for Dallas though.

Any other high end courses (obviously not private) if we wanted to spend recklessly?

Lol no. Texas Star & Texas Rangers are just as good of courses and more than half the price. Save the $ for strippers at Baby Dolls.

Waterchase, Rangers, Tierra Verde and Sky Creek Ranch were my favorites in the metroplex.

Right next door to Cowboys. Grapevine Municipal. Its gets crowded as hell, even with 27 holes though. $65 green with a cart on the weekends and they've started twilight rates too now.

Just be ready for the crowds.

ETA: I'd checkout The Tribute over in The Colony too. Pretty sure they're pushing around $150 for weekend rates these days.

I played Steven’s Park last year when I was there. Nothing super fancy but course was in good shape and had some really fun holes. Also played Texas rangers and cowboys club. While cowboys was more expensive and a bit overpriced, it was in much better shape than rangers.

Definitely correct on the price but two very solid courses. Almost in Oklahoma though.

Stevens and Tenison are two very solid Muni's in the heart of the city. give those another month to have full bermuda growth though.

Can you still get on at Old American or did it go Private? Any good if so? Never got to play it before I stopped traveling to Dallas for work

I love Grapevine, but I wouldn't recommend right now. Greeens are Poa heavy.

Far as I know you can get on both. Played Old American for the second time on Monday.

Still need to play tribute.

How was the course? Looks awesome but I’ve never been. I played the Tribute it’s really fun and different. My first time breaking 80 was there.

That's a bummer to hear. I haven't played out there since October but I've seen those greens like that before.

I played Steven’s Park and Cedar Crest a ton. Never really liked Tension that much. Cedar Crest is in a tough area but I loved the layout

Waterchase is really good, but there's no clubhouse. I believe they still operate out of a temporary building.

Texas Rangers Golf Club is good. They have a Korn Ferry event coming up, so it should be in great shape for the next couple weeks.

I've heard Tierra Verde is good, but I've never played it. It's a muni in Arlington.

I like Pecan Hollow a lot. Great greens. Muni in Plano.
