I played Copper Mill early on Sunday morning and was actually pleasantly surprised at the conditions. From everything I've heard the past 6+ months or so, the course was in "unplayable" condition. However, outside of the greens being very slow and a little high (we also teed off at 6:45am so that didn't help them), there weren't a ton of dead or uneven spots in the greens, the fairways were in decent shape, bunkers were okay, etc. It certainly wasn't in unplayable condition.

Just wanted to pass this along as we could all use another course to play in the Greater Baton Rouge area.

Played it today and overall the course was in very good condition. Greens were a little slow but look very healthy. They are making very good strides out there!

I played there on 6/30 and as you said the greens were very slow but in good condition. The tee boxes were really good.
The biggest note for those who havent played it recently is that they have made a lot of progress on repairing the bunkers.

Played the bluffs today and the bunkers were nearly all unplayable.

It was weird playing there with it in such rough shape after seeing what it has the potential to be.

Very twilight zoney
