Any opinions of getting a series of lessons from CWGA? In the past I played a lot of golf but have laid off the game for some years, as I was a single parent. Both of my kids are now at LSU and I want to get back into the game and it is seems this is the place to do so. Any thoughts and/or suggestions would be appreciated.

Posted at 10am and none of these clowns replied to you? Damn shame.

To your question...do what I did and simply call them up and book a lesson. Cost me 150 for an hour back then and while it was ok, I'd recommend other places before them. One of the best I've had is James Leitz at Tchefuncte. He's a Top 50 teacher in the US (the highest in the state) and will cost you about the same as CWGA.

It's really a matter of finding a guy YOU identify and connect with tho. There's a local guy who I go to for quick help and he fixes me faster than both of those high dollar teachers. Find the right guy for YOU.

Chuck doesn’t teach - he’s the golf coach for LSU Men’s. Blake Thomas is teaching pro at CWGA for last 3-4 yrs. I think he’s $100 per hour? Very good - uses technology to help you understand - book him, you won’t regret it

Incorrect. Brian Manzella is the 28th ranked overall instructor and higher ranked.
