Which two courses should be played at BCL? I have a trip planned late July/early August and only have time for two rounds. Buffalo Ridge & Payne's Valley? I have not played any of the courses in that area.

ETA - I am staying on property at BCL.

ETA 2 - Buffalo Ridge & Ozark National - thx guys.

The two courses I enjoyed most were Buffalo Ridge and Ozarks National, but I'd probably recommend Payne's Valley and Ozarks National just so you don't skip the biggest one, "Tigers Course."

Thanks, I've been told PV is expensive but I'll be there celebrating a milestone so I figured what the hell...

It is like $300/rd if you arent staying on property if I remember right. Less if you stay on property but no idea how much less.

Just got back. Buffalo ridge is amazing and well worth the money. Top of the rock is fun if you have a group for a quick money game

The Margarita at Arnie’s Barn is really good

I just posted there this week- Payne’s Valley on Monday, Ozark National on Tuesday, and Buffalo Ridge on Wednesday. I think I actually enjoyed Buffalo Ridge more than the others. Ozark National was the toughest especially with the wind howling. But you really do need to play Payne’s Valley. It is quite the experience - a bit pricey ($325) but worth it.

Sounds like Buffalo Ridge is unanimous at this point. Thanks for all the feedback. If you don’t mind me asking what area of AR are you located?

You don’t have to rent it, that was our favorite spot when we were there. 10 of us would pile in there and it was last man standing turn out the lights. The bartender crub was a cool dude who knows WAY too much about bourbon.

Very familiar with Sheridan. Hunted for quite a few years in Fordyce. I am in NLR.

So there are 5 courses available at BCL? Any other recommended courses in the area not associated with BCL?

Buffalo Ridge
Ozarks National
Payne's Valley
Top of the Rock (par-3 course)
Mountain Top (13 hole, short course)

I enjoyed Ozark National the best when I went. PV is extremely nice and wide open. If you play PV in the early morning, have breakfast there. They have the best Avocado toast I've ever had.
