No just that 99% of us aren't playing the CCs so the conditions of their greens are irrelevant.

Talking specifically about Santa Maria in that its in better shape than any other public course in close proximity to BR. 50 miles is a bit of a stretch b/c we’ve got Carter 30 miles down the road but other than that.....

And specifically about greens Greystone outside of this weird year is way better.

I am a SM fan but the love BREC gets is borderline Stockholm Syndrome or Battered Wife Syndrome.

false. Beaver was fine last year and previous years. Major issues this year I agree

I agree. This year is just an outlier. I fully expect Beaver to recover and get back to what it should be.

Dumas greens are actually in pretty good shape. Not fast by any means but they roll true.

That being said, I cant for the life of me understand why BREC dumped a ton of money into re-doing all of Dumas’s greens 3 years ago over Webb. Webb needs it the most and is the obvious course with the most long term stability. Especially since the future of Dumas is up in the air now. Webb could truly be a gem if it were maintained properly and if the greens were at least playable.

Played Santa Maria this weekend. Aside from the beach sand in the bunkers, I was surprised by the course condition

Where BREC is making it's biggest mistake is not selling beer in the am at the turn. Losing out on all kinds of money

It’s true Santa Maria is particularly nice at the moment.

The sand however is about 1/8 of an inch deep.
