I have a meeting scheduled at the lodge in April next year. Will the course be open? I searched and can't find anything other than at one time it was due to be open at the end of 2023.

Don’t think it will ever happen unfortunately. It would take an owner who doesn’t mind having a bottomless money pit. Especially, now that Arnold Palmer Design is no longer a thing.

I stayed at the lodge in October and there wasn’t any sign of activity trying to bring the course back. It was all overgrown.

i live there. there was noise about "potential buyers' when someone bought the outlying undeveloped property that is practically out of commerce now but I will believe it when i see it. I think she's gone. total revamp needed. total.

The homeowners backing out the deal was the death of the course

Are the cartpaths walkable. I was thinking about coming see what it looked like. Worked there in the 90's. Would like to see what it looks like before completely taken back by the forest.
