anyone play in Biloxi recently?

Heading that way next week and trying to get some info on conditions at Grand Bear, Preserve, and Shell Landing?

We're playing Fallen Oak and 2 others and want to make sure the others are in good shape

TIA

Grand Bear just did greens aerification. Would pass on this for now, although I'm sure the rest of the course is in great shape.

Shell did aerification on June 22nd and should be back to really good shape. Would recommend.

Preserve closed for 2 weeks after July 4th weekend for course maintenance. It was absolutely perfect when we played on the 4th and have zero doubts it's back to damn near perfect.

Hope this helps!

Played Fallen Oak last Sunday for the first time and it was the nicest course I’ve ever played by a long shot. I can’t speak for the other courses in the area though

Has anybody played a course called Black Jack Bay? I played there years ago & it’s been closed for years. Just reminiscing about old courses that aren’t around anymore.

I’d say if you live in South La/Miss it’s the best conditioned course without driving over 3 hours to play. The Preserve is in way better condition than Grand Bear and it isn’t close. Grand Bear should enjoy being number 3 on the coast because Windance CC is just as good or maybe better.

I played Windance for the first time a couple months ago, and the greens put everything in our area to shame. They were flawless

Well it does usually host a Champions Tour event.

I played Grand Bear beginning of June.
Course conditions at the time were the best I've seen at that place.

Shell Landing was in great shape 2 weeks ago and maintained a nice pace of play even though they were completely booked.

Shell is the best shape it has ever been. Diamondhead is in good shape - just punched the Pines about 2 weeks ago and hosting the Womens Am this weekend. Windance is in unbelievable shape right now.
