I use to chunk 2-3 shots a round… got the Srixons and might chunk every 3 or 4 rounds… maybe.
I’m a believer. Game changing tech is hard to come by for me. This definitely has changed my game

I like some of the newer Ben Hogan line. Give you unmistakable sound and feeling of its g spot so you know you flushed it. Not for nothing but your shafts play a huge role in the feel of impact

Hogan went under last year.

Most forged irons feel really good, I did a fitting a couple of weeks ago and hit a bunch of stuff and the only iron I didn't like the feel of was the new Mizuno JPX. That's a shame cause I've had Mizuno irons on and off since 1998. The MP 221 was the best feeling blade I hit though. I ended up going Wilson Staff CB for the best combo of pretty, feels good, performs well.

The above iron is called the button back. They stopped making them in 1972, if my memory serves me. What to look for in a blade that feels good, is the amount of metal, or thickness of the head, behind the sweet spot. That varies, greatly, from manufacturer to manufacture, and even applies over the decades that blades were the primary iron offered by every club manufacturer.

MP32 felt pretty awesome with that weight pushed out.

Cobra’s new irons look pretty good to me.

I wonder why? Have you ever seen any type of advertising or promotion for Hogan equipment? I respect that. The product was high quality and sold itself if you were worthy. No b.s. Technological breakthroughs that the biggest claim to have every other Tuesday over at Taylor made, Callaway and ping. I hate it but titleist is is getting just as bad.
