I still wear white belts, but I'm middle aged, fat, not a great golfer, and I don't give two fricks about trends, perception, or anyone else's opinion, bwaaahahahaha!

And the guys you played with are laughing their asses off while you buy another round.
The guys that I play with some are gear heads and some are not.
Most retired early, couple other still work but have a lot of freedom in thier schedules.
One guy a doctor and he has at least 30 Cameron putters and plays nothing but the latest Titleist equipment.
Another is an engineer who does all of his own club building and plays a mixed bag of Maltby and others components. His woods are from a Japanese clubmaker called Metal Factory he special orders.
Another is a wholesale electrical salesman who only has 4 customers and makes about 350,000 a year. His club buying habit makes mine look dull.
Another plays all Callaway equipment while another plays 20 year old Hogan irons.
Usually have 8 guys playing, all great guys that have fun and enjoy a cold beer with a burger or steak after the round.
We have a guy that keeps track of the handicaps and the money which in the two years that we have been playing as a group stays remarkably even.

Not even close. I have said before that I have friends in the Golf business that do my trade-ins and discounts.
The PXG Fairway wood in my bag was given to me by a Senior Tour Player friend. Over the years I have been given a lot of prototype equipment.
The new Ping bag was ordered by a guy paid for the bag and that never picked it up after 45 days and my buddy is not able to contact him, so I got it for cost.
I don't post pics to brag, trying new clubs is a hobby now that I retired early. The financial side of it is something that I can afford since I don't hunt and fish much anymore, so why not. Better than dropping cash in strip clubs lol...
I have learned quite a bit over the years about clubs, shafts and thier specs. I know what works for me and what doesn't.

Keep doing what you do. . .I envy you.

Thanks but I'm not sure anyone should envy my lifestyle.
I scafriced a lot early in life traveling and being away from home working too much. We couldn't have kids which was devastating and moving around because of work was a pain.
Got lucky with the timing of some longterm investments and got a great early retirement package.
Don't have much family left living. So no one to leave our assets too.
I would gladly play some 1960 Hogan irons for the rest of my life to have a house full of grandkids for the holidays....

Don't ever go that far.
The offset on those things looked like a shank just waiting to happen.

Then the thread title should be Club Fitting Today instead of Bag Fitting Today.

You got that Gen4 baw? I hit one this week in some Hey Dudes and told the rep he couldn’t touch how far I hit my TSi2, the black Gen 4 irons though
Posted on 7/17/21 at 5:39 pm to Front9Bandit
Got it yesterday. Playing with it Wednesday for first time. I heard the TSi2 electric!

For the golf bag, the Ping 425 irons, the driver, the woods, the wedges and the putter. I am guessing all combined it’s $2450 plus tax.
