Are LS drivers, in general, too precise for mid+ handicappers? There seems to be more of them than regular and “max” drivers available on eBay.
I don’t think the LS was around when I bought my driver (Titleist 910D2).
I’m an 18 and hit a natural cut 260-270, and can go 280-290 when I hit it dead straight, but my “good miss” is a spinny as shite fade that dies at 225.
Would an LS forgive that miss a little more.

The standard and max models would be more forgiving. However, if you have the time, the best bet is to always try them out with a Trackman or comparable launch monitor to check the numbers.
I hit the Aerojet Max and love it. Able to work the ball both ways with it. Very, very forgiving.

It depends on your swing and what head/shaft combo gets you to your ideal numbers most often. LS is a godsend for high swing players where 3k spin loses us 20 yards while 3k spin for a low speed player is good to keep the ball in the air longer.

I don’t need LS so the normal non max should be good with a velocore blue ladies flex

I find LS heads easier to turn over. I’m a slower (98-100mph) and haven’t driven the ball this well in a very long time. I have the Ping 425 LST. With LS heads, I’m able to find the ball when the ole slice resurrects itself randomly mid round.

I have the epic flash sub zero which I guess is equivalent to the LS head.
Mine is pretty unforgiving on off center hits and if you happen to hook it, it goes left in a hurry.
Wouldn’t recommend for an 18 handicap if you’re already struggling to find the center of the face.

Well I sniped a new Epic Max LS late night on eBay for $175 last night (thanks ksouth9, goat eBay seller). I’ll play it a little and and if I don’t like it, I don’t feel like I’m out too much.
About to start lessons too, so maybe I can grow into it.
