I saw a social media post that Tulane held an Invitational out there March 10th, I’d imagine it would be in decent shape to host a college tournament.

I can’t believe English Turn isn’t in good shape. One of my favorite courses in the area.

What happened?

It's in pretty good shape except for what is turning out to be annual spring dead spots on the greens and aprons.

They have typically filled in (treated rather that pretreated) after a few months. Historically this problem has been blamed on nematodes or fungus or cinch bugs or other. Seems like the root structure is so poor that it can't support nutrient demand when spring growth happens. Ultimately the problem seems to be budget allocation.

You see this with other courses in south Louisiana.
