Recently? Got invited to play tomorrow by a friend who plays there. I know lots of water but says course has its challenges. Can’t just grab a driver and swing away? Supposedly new management has course moving in a good direction.

Tough course if you can’t keep it in the fairway. Always blocked by something if you miss.

It’s been going positive compared to the past, better hit it straight for sure.

I grew up in Ormond and my parents still live on the course. I played it last weekend when I came in to visit. There is a lot of water, but nothing too extreme. You can rip a driver for the most part on the front 9. You will only use a driver on 4 of the 7 non par 3s on the back.

Like most of the courses in LA and Texas, the rain has turned it into a swamp this winter. It wasn't in the best shape last weekend. The greens were especially bad. Number 13 was essentially hard sand painted green. The new management is promising, but I don't know if they could have done anything this winter to keep the course up.

The course isn't bad. Usually stays in pretty decent shape, but ton of water and tough if you can't keep the drives safe. But it's not worth the money that they charge people. better off going to Laplace and paying $25 for Belle Terre

And if you're lucky, years back they would sometimes have a hot milf cutting the grass on the left side of the 12 tee box. Great scenery out there

Played today. Not bad. Shot 87. Actually I think their price point is fine. $35 during the week and $45 on weekend for outside play. Greens were ok but giving the weather conditions for the past few months they were in good shape and rolled very true. Course was decent but fairways were above average considering weather we have had. Definitely have to strategize. Can’t just grip and rip. Would have no hesitation to go back and play again. Playing golf with shorts on in February is just insane.
