It’s close by and I need a course I can call home. Beau Chene isn’t that far either so I guess it comes down to best deal. Beau Chene makes you pay $20 per person cart fee. That’s crazy to me. I could play Carter Plantation for no membership fees at $53 per round. Let me know what the best northshore option is.

A few years ago full golf dues were in the $300-350 range/month. They do still make you pay for carts, or you can join the trail plan. Think it was around an extra $100/month

I looked at it a few years ago and it was going to coast around $400 a month. That included a cart plan and monthly requirements for food and beverage. Assessments were on top of that which would change per quarter.

Almost every club I’ve heard of charge $20 a round for cart fees

Yeah, carts are leased by the clubs, so you're most likely going to pay this fee to offset the costs of the lease ju about everywhere.

But $20 per person? $40 cart for two people?

Cart fees are standard.
What varies is walking fees. My previous club charged to use push cart, and had to pay to even walk without.

Current club walking is free, and they have push carts you can use if you'd like.

Yeah $20 per person is what I've seen, they don't care if you ride by yourself or with someone else though

I wouldn't join somewhere I couldn't walk for free. I bought a clic gear push cart and use it for around 80% of my rounds. Only time I dont is if I'm playing more than 18 or a Saturday afternoon with heavier drinking.

I bought a clic gear when I was a member at Tchefuncta. But now that I have my own cart in Moneyhill, I haven’t walked around in a few years. Guess I’m just lazy now.
