I know that I am making myself look old, but I was talking to a guy last week about them and how much fun it was.
My team did fairly well a couple of years and our Pro was the head pro at Battleground GC.
Good times. For the real young guys Oldsmobile was a GM Car lol..

No, it was Montgomery Wards.

Played a few. I believe it had some kind of handicap system in play. Buddy of mine was single handicap and I was around 12. Got my wife to play and another high handicap player for low net. Never made it to round 2

Took a team to Nationals when I was a club pro in the Atlanta area.

Very nice.
I thought we had a chance until we ran into a buzz saw of a team that had a Pasadena TX Cop on the team.
He hit a 240 fairway shot to an island green to 2 feet.
He later went on to win the Houston City Amateur a couple of times I believe.

Made it to nationals two years in a row when I was 14 and 15 years old. Thought I was Jack Nicklaus
