I haven't heard much of these but went and had an iron fitting recently and the Ping G430 green dots with a regular flex steel shaft is what I hit the best. Coincidentally my current clubs are Ping G15 blue dots that I bought second hand years ago.

Hit stealth, paradigm, p790 and a couple others and mixed between graphite and iron shafts with different flexes but the G430s were the more consistent distance, spin, and descent angle for me. Just curious on any feedback from any of you who may use them

I got fitted a few months ago and have Ping G430's.

I hit Titleist, Callaway and Taylormade as well.

I am enjoying them so far- very forgiving. My ball flight seems a lot lower, so I'm not sure if its coming from the head or the shaft. I am swinging KBS 120 Stiff flex.

I am considering changing to regular flex. Could the stiffness affect ball flight like that?

I got fitted a couple weeks ago. I was inconsistent with the 430s (and the Ping I's). Also hit Paradym, Titleist T200 and Mizuno HL's. Stealth was far and away the winner for me. I hit most of the others too low and not enough spin. The Stealths were pretty close to perfect and a club longer than my old TM irons. Callways and Pings were pretty similar to me and my second favorite behind the Stealth, but the consistent height I saw with Stealths made the difference.

I went through a pretty thorough iron fitting recently and the P430 blue dots were the best for me. Callaway were a strong second but the Pings were pretty obvious standout. Pretty tight pattern as well as more distance. Also in regular flex as I was swinging tour stiff before.

I don't know that there is a direct link of flex types to certain trajectories. Biggest difference is the proper flex for your swing speed to be able to get your club around and squared up correctly at impact. Faster swing speeds typically utilize stiffer flex because if not they would contort & bend the looser flexes too much to control to make good contact

Ping puts a ton of money and research into each product to make sure it works.

I was a true blue Ping guy for decades. I think that they lost their way after the I210's for a while, but they seem to be on track now.

I went with the G425s when the G430s came out and was able to save a few $$. Very easy to hit and not as bulky as previous G models. They can't be that different.
