Heading to Toledo Bend in a couple of weeks and was thinking about taking a slight detour on the way there to play this course.

Anyone have experiences or comments to share? Is it nice? Kept up?

I’ve never played it, but I have a buddy who plays it a lot, and loves it.

Played a tournament there last weekend. It’s in really great shape and the greens are very nice. The greens on the front are slow compared to the green on the back. Those back 9 greens were FLYING. Avoid being pin high or long of the flag on the green at all costs! Other than that it’s a really fun track

Oh and the food in the bar and grill is absolutely fantastic! HIGHLY recommend the fish tacos!

Awesome! Thanks for the info.

Now, I'm debating on whether to spend the extra money to stay at the resort the night before so I don't have to wake up at dawn to tee off before noon.

Course is in good shape. Lots of construction around the club house. We are very dry for this time of year. They just resodded several tee boxes and around a few greens which they are having to water a lot. There is a cart girl.

Are all three courses open or just the gold and blue?

Glad you enjoyed it. Poa on 3 greens on back side but I think they just sprayed it. I think it’s rolling a little slow and need some sand but they are rolling nice. Construction everywhere! It will be top notch when complete
