I’ll watch happily on TV. In person golf events are the absolute worst sporting event if you actually care about watching.
And good lord it’s hard to spend $750 on a ticket for a sport who now has its athletes more subsidized than the WNBA players

I did shot link a couple times at the HP/Zurich and thought I would be able to watch some golf from a good spot. Green side tower. If you had 2 people in there it was kind of busy on Thursday/Friday. Especially if they flip flopped a tee time (they had shirt/pants color listed and name) or had IT issues. This was in the Palm pilot era.

Little bit of Ryder cup drama with Jon Rahm - he has to play 3 events on DP World Tour before the end of the year to remain eligible.
He is planning to do that (playing in Spanish Open in a couple weeks) but also doesn’t want to pay the fines to DP Tour. Which seems wild for a guy with $500M

Ryder Cup days 1 and 2 are even worse with there only being 4 groups on the course. Almost impossible to get decent views.
