I'm itching for the 3rd one. I loved the resource gathering and base aspects

Same. I actually disliked the second State of Decay, but I still want a third. The second one just seemed too repetitive with constantly battling hoards at your home base.

I personally loved how open the first game felt. There were missions and a general order to things, but you got to scope out the city(and coutnryside) to pick your base and whatnot. It didn’t feel like a point and shoot game.

I like the foundation they have laid. I would love to see something come out with territories and economies.

State of Decay 2 was the most disappointed I've been with a game. The first is one of my favorites but the second was broken at launch and the gameplay didn't feel nearly as good for whatever reason.

if you can deal with no story, base building and just pure survival, then 7 Days To Die is a tremendously fun game.

Every 7 days a horde attacks your base. The horde gets stronger every single attack. Zombie upgrade with each attack.

The game was on sale for like 9 bucks around Halloween but it is probably back to normal price now.

I usually play until day 49 then get bored. When I can't think of something to play, I go back to 7 Days to see what they have added or changed. I think they are on Alpha 19. Even though it is in Alpha you can put a TON of time in the game. Each day is 1 hour so I've put about 49 hours into the game 5 or 6 times.

Watch some of Neebs Gaming or Glock9 to get a good feel for the game.
