Same here rather long load times with RTG especially. Also, two RTG freezes within 30 minutes, awesome.

I don't mind slow/laggy menus too much, but when that shite starts happening in the game - which is has - that's when it pisses me off.

Also, why does every AI team I play - no matter how horribly shitty their team is - have a NFL Hall of Famer on the defensive line? You can't run for shite this year unless you are on varsity or below.

I've heard that the zones are a little overpowered this year and I agree to an extent. Just because a team is in zone doesn't mean they should each be Revis Island out there. if you have a 59 zone rating, guess what? YOU CAN'T COVER shite!

Only real positive/improvement I can take from the game is that these tackling animations are legit, but I've seen this same animations but at a better quality with every edition of Madden since Madden 09 and Madden 09 was a shitty arse game.

I really really hate slow and clunky menus. Especially when I'm editing rosters or in the menus of dynasty. I just wish I could scroll right through them like it was nothing.

I'm not getting it because I hate EA Sports and I'd rather play The Show. But I did see that they included some pretty sweet stuff like traditions, the new tackling system and the grass that actually sticks up off the ground.

The "3d grass" looks good during cut scenes, but during the game it looks like shite and causes the field logos to look very pixilated and out of focus.

My biggest complain so far: You still can't skip the post-game highlight bullshite.

AJF always rips EA so it's not a surprise that he doesn't like the game. I have played three online games so far and started a RTG. For the most part the game is really similar to last year and no huge improvements in gameplay and flaws like there was with 11'. I have also noticed increased drops from receivers, but I think that is due to the new tackling system. Overall it's nothing special. For all the guys wondering if they should by it, I wouldn't recommend it if your not a diehard (if you don't have it by now your probably not), because you can play last years game with the updated rosters and be fine.

This game is half decent and half complete horseshite. Maybe after I download the patch when some people finish the rosters it will improve but so far I'd give thid game about a 5.5 or 6.0 on a 10.0 scale.

It's really a shame that the same video game company can put out two video games, based on the same sport, that have so much difference in the gameplay. Say what you will about all the off the field stuff on Madden, the gameplay is by far the most realistic in any sports game out there.

No offense, but Madden and NCAA are probably the two worst sports games when it comes to gameplay. NHL, FIFA and The Show have them both beat by a mile.

I'm sorry but the Show's gameplay may be sim realistic but it is completely boring. I have never felt less in control of any video game in my life. I attribute that some to the nature of baseball, but still, it felt as if very little, if any, of the decision I made had any outcome on the game or off the field.

Well which way do you want it, realistic or exciting? You said Madden is the most realistic. Of course Madden is more exciting than The Show, football usually is more exciting than baseball.

I was good at NCAA '11.. In person, my record was 66-7, and online it was something around 31-13. Now, on '12, I just flat out suck.. I'm the type of player that likes to just light it up through the air, and I'm having trouble completing hardly any passes right now. I guess I have a lot of work to do.

NCAA 11 was a very offense oriented game, while NCAA 12 seems to be a very defense oriented game. It seems to be giving a lot of people trouble,

i hope it stays this way... passing should be difficult, last year certain routes were impossible to stop

Yea I agree, there are a few sliders I need to adjust on Heisman, but I like how the game plays for the most part. Only thing I don't like is how much pressure a 4 man rush gets on every play.

Made a thread last night about how impossible it is to pass...best passing game I had was with andrew luck 8-15 for about 130 yards and he's the best quarterback...

A big tip for running the ball- as soon as your halfback gets the balls press the r stick forwards and make him lean all through the blocks ...somehow it makes a lot of defenders miss

Also, I have never enjoyed RTG but for some reason I can't put it down this year.

Because they made it so much better. I created my HS team on teambuilder and then just renamed all the HS teams to their real schedule. I'm a QB/MLB and in the first playoff game I'm currently 137 on the ESPNU 150 . I love the changes they made.

This is still true played online vs a guy using arky and he would hot route every play and use almost the same play and there was nothing I could do.

Realistic and exicting are not mutually exclusive ideas.
