You can tell Todd Howard is still running things at Bethesda

Skyrim 10 year edition wasn't selling enough copies, so they put out an update, and lagged everyones menu for skyrim and skyrim se.
So now, as soon as you get to the menu, it's lag city, and trying to look thru mods, lol.
And in true Todd ways, not only did it do this to skyrim and se, but it's also lagging many of the 10 year edition buyers.
3 months, and still going. If not for the modding community, Bethesda would be another garbage company.

Bethesda is the most overrated company out there.
The last good game they made was
Morrowind. Oblivion and Skyrim were average at best games, made good by modders.
I like how every time they release a game, their character development gets more and more shallow.

I had never played it, so I started about a month ago when I got my xbox and game pass. Cool game, but the fighting mechanics are awful. I'll go back and finish one day, but in the meantime I have days gone, horizon forbidden West, and soon elden ring to play.

And the worst things about these updates is that they often break older mods and the script extender.
