Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition is 720p docked 378/540p undocked

Why can't this dev studio learn to work within the constraints of the hardware? At this point, I'd rather they just release the original game in 1080p. Would probably look better.

In their defense, they literally work on like 8 other games as a studio at any given time 
They have 4 locations and 250 employees overall.

All the screenshots look pretty great. I wouldn't overreact until we get it.

You can't tell anything but the screenshots.
I didn't play Xenoblade 2, but I Played Torna, and it looked bad enough to take me out of the experience. I never played undocked.

I played XC2 and Torna both undocked. It looked bad at times but they’re still great games. Still disappointing to see this though

Direct Feed Undocked
Again, not that bad. 540p undocked is ok. Not great, not terrible. It's serviceable for a 10 year old Wii Game. Monolithsoft has been working on a yet unrevealed tent pole game, while doing XC2, Torna, and XCDE while helping Nintendo on things like Zelda and Fire Emblem. Yes they call it DE, but this is probably more just a glorified port.

I watched the video in fullscreen. Jaggies all over the place just like XC2. It'll look even worse on a 55 inch TV.
The Switch can't run at least a 10 year old Wii game at a locked 900p at the very least?
I know DE is closer in looks to Xenoblade Chronicles 2, but I'd rather have a straight port at 1080p/900p than something the system clearly cannot handle.
I really don't care how many games they're working on, especially if it's causing their games to release in an unoptimized state.

It’s easily patchable don’t worry about it. Once the money starts flowing in and they have spare dev time they’ll have some time to work on a few things.
