I am going to vote with my money and not buy this abomination. If a console cannot play games from Gamefly or Redbox with no extra charge I am not going to buy the console.

TAlk about jumping the fricking gun.

THey are absolutely capable of making discs that are recognized as rental versions by the machine.

How about waiting for some concrete info before throwing a hissy fit?

Think about how many servers Amazon or Google are running. The Amazon cloud is almost a half million

from what I've read google has 2 million plus and amazon 450k.

300k for Xbox live seems like a lot still

Ohh so they can make Divx versions then. Yes I remember how well that worked out. Maybe they can make a HD-DVD Divx drive. Sounds like great technology to me.

LOL seriously dude? All they need is a serial number series using a different algorithm and then machine knows the game is a rental. When you're done you return it. You won't even know the difference.
