I don't have any idea just how incredible that is, but judging by your reaction I'll say its quite the feat.

Well they can probably run 1600+ servers in one equipment rack.

I am going to vote with my money and not buy this abomination. If a console cannot play games from Gamefly or Redbox with no extra charge I am not going to buy the console.

TAlk about jumping the fricking gun.
THey are absolutely capable of making discs that are recognized as rental versions by the machine.
How about waiting for some concrete info before throwing a hissy fit?

Think about how many servers Amazon or Google are running. The Amazon cloud is almost a half million

I just wanna see that active directory, I would jizz my pants
from what I've read google has 2 million plus and amazon 450k.
300k for Xbox live seems like a lot still

Ohh so they can make Divx versions then. Yes I remember how well that worked out. Maybe they can make a HD-DVD Divx drive. Sounds like great technology to me.

ummm, if it has an openable case, the HD is replaceable, so that's bullshite
lets dump speculation on top of speculation. logical. Robots will take over the world after Y2K

It's a potential problem. You can do through 500 gigs pretty quick.

LOL seriously dude? All they need is a serial number series using a different algorithm and then machine knows the game is a rental. When you're done you return it. You won't even know the difference.
