Anyone have any idea why my Xbox one just randomly stopped working? The box thing that plugs into the Xbox and the wall outlet doesn’t light up anymore. Just curious if anyone else had this issue.
Gracias

Sounds like the power supply is done.

I don't know if they do this with XBox Ones, but when I had a problem like this with a laptop I took it to Best Buy and they plugged in a spare plug to verify if it was the plug (cheap replacement solution) or the PC itself.
Maybe you should try that first.

Power supplies are notoriously bad on the Xbox One

I had an Xbox one S that I had moved to a bad spot under/behind my TV (out of reach from my toddler) and it ended up overheating and died. Sent it back to Microsoft and they replaced, this was about 5 months ago or so. May or may not be applicable to your situation but figured I would share lol

My power supply quit working after a lightning strike a couple of weeks ago. After about 30 min I plugged it into a new outlet and it lit up again and started to work. This probably won’t help you but an idea.

Just get a new power supply off Amazon or ebay
