Holy shite I remember that christmas like it was yesterday. I got xbox live December of 2004 after Halo 2 was released, and I spent nearly three straight days playing online. I'm sure I was that prototypical annoying as frick 12 year old kid too

God I loved playing XBL on the OG xbox. Nothing better than being 4 rooms away from the router and lagging every other game. When I was a young buck I also gave someone a free 3 month trial to mod me up to a level 50 on Halo... yeah lets just says I gave it to him and never heard from him again. So naïve. Halo parties were a big thing before Xbox Live. We'd have 2-3 TV's and Xboxes in different rooms, playing 4v4. That was fun.

My first Xbox Live games were Unreal Championship and Ghost Recon. It hard to believe it been 15 years.
