Yea I was just thinking about that too, nothing a small shim can't fix.

It's not very stylish but it's functional, I can live with that.

Yea I know, I got caught not keeping up with current console tech at the time. It truly is my fault for not checking.

it just seems odd they would redesign it before that console generation was over, I guess I wasn't expecting anything like that and took it for granted .

It had been trending that way in the past though. From the expansion pack on the N64 to the PS2 having a slim edition.

It is just smart business sense. Not only are they able to improve the product, they are able to sell more units.

Especially considering the overall media hub it has become.

My original 360 came with component cables, without built in wireless capabilities, and the dashboard was shite.

The only thing comparable between 360 slim and the original one I bought is the name and the controller. Every thing else has changed for the better.
