get BL2 for the box. We should have plenty people on board with BL by then.

Brick is a beast. Definitely the highest health and shield combos. His only weapon proficiency is rocket launchers, which are pretty meh in BL in general.
He's great if you like using shotguns and running the whole time. Also when your team is pinned down, you can use your special to take all the bad guys attention and allow your teammates to reapply, heal, or pick off your enemies one at a time.

I think around 800 still. Makes more sense from the get go to buy the GOTYE.

I think some of them were discounted but I'm not sure of the price. None of them will be above 800.

After we kill the final boss (the glowing eye blob with a toothy vagina as a mouth) is there any point in traveling all the way thru and turning in the mission?

yeah, I seemed to last longer with him. the first character I chose was the soldier. Nappy uses the sniper...sniping is pretty fun on here.
I should be on later tonight. Gonna spend some QT with the fam for a bit first.
I still never finished Dead Island yet if anyone ever wants to co-op on that. I'm at the point where I can go to the prison but I haven't gone yet.

Look at the rewards for it. I think you might get whatever XP and weapons right there on the spot. I can't remember where you would turn that in. Let me look it up.
ETA: It says after you defeat that last monster, pick up the vault key and take it to Tannis in Rust Commons.
Reward is 17136 XP, $234,885.

So...did't take long at all to REALLY get in to this game. Co-op is obviously the tits. But playing solo I just scored a gun that sets skags on fire. NICE! I can't imagine how badass the other bazillion guns are.

elemental weapons are the shite.
when you see a elemental weapon, don't mind the damage, fire rate, and accuracy. If the elemental chance is x3 or x4, pick it up and at least give it a go.
Because likely it isn't the bullet damage that will be killing the enemy, it's the element (fire, shock, corrosion).
Pevy and I beat it last night and the best gun I have I got Monday at like a level 25. x4 Fire Damage SMG with average damage, accuracy, and fire rate, but it lights them on fire with every bullet I shoot. I essentially shoot them enough to take down their shields then move on, they burn to death while I continue.
