Xbox 360 Achievements / PS3 Trophies

How many of you get a game and strive to unlock these? I'm on 360 and can't help but work my arse off to get achievements. Just loving hearing the little noise when they pop up onto the screen

I usually try to get them without knowing what they are beforehand. It's more fun that way, imo.

I don't worry about them as much as just beating the game. I only have two games on Xbox I have unlocked every achievement on. RDR and Assassins Creed II but am working on doing AC Brotherhood 100%

RDR is pretty crazy. I gave up on getting 100% completion haha. The only full one I've got is Call of Duty 2, which is hands down the hardest game I've ever played.

I have several games where I've got around 95% completion. There's always got to be one or two achievements that are too much of a pain to go after.
There is something strangely satisfying about seeing an achievement pop up on the screen. I'd like to say that they don't matter to me, but I'd be lying.

Same here. I don't look them up to see what they are. I just play the game and if I get them, great.

I unlocked the 100% completion achievement in RDR, but not 100% of the achievements. I didn't bother with that multiplayer stuff

I think I've only done 100% on Fight Night 4 and Oblivion

I have all acheivements on 14 360 games, and close on several others. The only game I am close to on PS3 is ME2, and just need to pick up that last DLC to knock those 3 trophies out.
I am big time into getting gamerscore. Just cracked 42k the other day.
My goal is to eventually have at least 50% gamerscore and acheievements for all games combined that I own.
