here's a tip for the Need Only One assignment for the L96A1:
The C4 kill only counts when you use C4 as a recon class. I killed several infantry with C4 charges before I was able to figure this out.
Silver lining - I now have another sniper rifle that I'll never use.

I really don't appreciate how they make you get five sniper kills in firestorm for an unlockable gun.
