WTF happened to Jim Sterling?

Dude was always a stereotypical gaming nerd who was mildly annoying. Unfortunately he was conditioned to lean hard into progressivism and I think that has enabled some latent mental illness he might have been able to suppress otherwise.

I never could get into his schtick. Arrogant, loud, hyperbolic...just generally annoying.

I had no idea who this was. After checking wikipedia, it looks like he is a they and identifies as queer and pansexual, so he has that going for HIM.

I've been a fan of Jim for a long time going back to his Destructoid days. I guess we have similar taste in a lot games so I put more stock in his reviews than others. His Jimquisitions were fair criticisms and I really like his humor. Podquisiton when Gavin was on was fun too.

Sadly he doesnt do thorough reviews anymore(just Jimpressions) The Jimquisitions have gotten somewhat stale, repeating same gripes over and over. Gavin left Podquisition and Conrad came on board. Now I liked Conrad and Jims Spin Off Doctors show but when you throw in Laura's pov (also transgender) its just become this anti capitalist, transgender,woke talking points criticism of video games that not entertaining at all.

He has complained that he has lost subscribers out of bigotry b/c he came out as trans. That may be true to some extant but as for myself, I just dont tune in as much b/c I find his content not as entertaining.
