We recently opened up the Stalagg realm, and we urge players on Herod to consider moving there. I moved them over and hopefully they'll add more realms once this one evens out and I may delete/create again.
What is this phase 2 content unlock? is there a roadmap of everything in the works?

Yes. 6 phases. Zones/bosses, item drops, when PvP comes out, etc. They are trying to mimic classic as much as possible. You don’t want BWL (gear) to be out when first zoning MC/Onyxia/DM/etc

One sub gets you both games, so everyone who has retail can play classic. You wont be able to play full retail without buying the current expansion, but if you're just paying for classic then they're both the same.

I might stay where I am but some dipshit on forums declared my realm as "conservative" so im pretty sure it will be filled with a bunch of prog trolls now.

2019 Blizzard isn't classic Blizzard. That's for sure.
I do sympathize with Blizzard here to a degree though. First of all, I think you will see a huge influx of players initially. I wouldn't be surprised if more people play classic WoW at least for a period of time than retail. It will drop off eventually though, and you'll see those servers merge together. That's not to say Classic WoW will die. I believe it will always have a core playerbase, but it won't be the huge ordeal that it is now.
You also have to look at it from the perspective of this is Blizzard finally admitting that, at least in some ways, their current product (the one current Blizzard had a hand in developing) is inferior to the old product. To a certain degree, the older the game gets, the harder it is to avoid this sentiment, but it's a tough pill for them to swallow all the same.

So ill wait til about an hour before launch and see if skeram is still medium and possibly switch. If i wasn't 3 miles from the atlantic id consider rolling on a pac realm. May even consider a PvE with hopes of char transfer later. I do not want to be in que longer than 45 min. If its too terrible ill just cancel my days off tues and wed.
