Fallout: Chernobyl

Only it's a lot nicer than it is in the real world :)

I'd give fallout a chance no matter where it was set, but I really feel I'd miss the pseudo 50s classic Americana if it were set in a different country.

I am puzzled why anyone would be adverse to a game outside the US. I play game like Metro, Mass Effect, and Witcher, I don't care where they set I only care that they are good.

I suspect that Florida might be one they'll look to.

Imagine the creepy shite they could concoct around Orlando and Disney.

It's a US-based series. Louisiana is a natural location, but my pick would be coastal Florida around Cape Canaveral, where the remnants of the US space program would be part of the story. Van Buren (the canceled Fallout 3) was actually going to be at least partially about the Enclave's plans for space.

If they hadn't just done Nuka World, Orlando would have been a natural DLC for such a game. With that already gone, Miami and the Keys. Maybe Cuba if you make it so the US acquired it in the Fallout timeline.
