Nothing will ever top The Lion King on SNES imo. That was an insanely difficult game.

But at least it was still a fun game though.

Same... Bionic Commando used to give me fits.

Bionic Commando was one of my favorite games of any system growing up, loved the mechanics of the bionic arm and the ending was pretty bad-arse for its time.

I was/am a huge fan of side scrolling Castlevania games.
Castlevania 2, to steal from AVGN, had the ridiculous night/day messages far too often, and don't even get me started on the tornado teleport.

That for me wins b/c I loved 1 and 3 (and subsequent games), 2 was a major letdown.

I finished that game dozens of times. One of my favorite games of all time.

In the Japanese version of the game, the final boss is literally a mechanized reborn Hitler. They censored that for the US release.

Rygar. The game was tough as hell, and the old merchants just scattered around these mountains selling things used to make me laugh.

Ghosts N Goblins was great, but hard as a mofo.

I know I ignored the question, I just wanted a nostalgia run.

It's very easy, you have to look at the numbers, that's all.
