switch your button to the tactical layout, it makes the R3 button the crouch/prone, you engage an enemy, you press down you drop to the ground as you shoot. highly effective.

The only bad thing is, it becomes second nature. It gets you out of plenty of nasty things, but I know I've dropshotted when there was no reason to just because of muscle memory (like that poor bastard a couple of nights ago that stuck it out when we had dogs/chopper/blackbird). It does lead to a couple of "Oh, that was nasty" comments a night though

yeah i drop shot sometimes when i don't mean to or there's no need lol, oh well i guess that's just part of it. I really love it when i'm behind cover, drop shot behind the cover and shoot nothing but the cover, the cross ties on firing range...prime example, i'm sure the other guy is like WTF.

What the hell is a "Halo" jump?

I think its called a gravity jump in halo. They jump in the air and kinda float. It makes them hard to shoot at. That's not necessarily the case in cod. They fall a lot faster due to gravity.

As much as I fricking hate drop shotters, its part of the game and it's something anyone can do, so I live with it.
After I'm drop shot once, I shoot everyone in the kneecaps. That, or I run around with marathon and a M1014.

Its easier to get a headshot when someone tries a seopshot on you. I don't DS or jump around that much fwiw
