Who's buying Crash Bandicoot on Friday?

One of the original classic games from PlayStation is being remastered and released Friday. Crash 1,2, and 3, all on one disc for $40. I played them when I was younger, one of the first games I ever played, so it's cool to see it come back.
Anyone thinking about picking it up?

Probably not Friday, but I'll likely get it for my daughter when it goes on sale.
I wished they'd included Crash Team Racing. It was an under appreciated kart racer from PS1 days. I had a ton of fun playing that.

I want to see reviews. I have a feeling the complete redo will lead to some glaring issues not present in the original games.

I wish they'd include CTR also. I will say this tho, there are trophies in the game that are named after quotes taken from an old CTR commercial. And now there's rumors of free DLC coming out soon after release. I would love for the DLC to be CTR, but I doubt they'd add something that big.

Somehow a few people have already received theirs and played it. Idk how. I haven't heard anything but good reviews so far.

Already Pre-Ordered.
Never played Crash much but the SO loved it. She only really likes 3 video games in Mario Party, Crash and The Wolf Among Us. Hates everything else.

A friend of mine swears CTR is the best cart racer ever made. I've played it but didn't think it was anything special. For it's day I can see it being fun though.

Back in the day, that game was amazing. But now when I play it, while I still enjoy it, it can get boring quickly. I still hope they eventually remaster it tho. I imagine it would do well in sales if they added an online mode to race against others

I really want to get it but this release actually made me realize that I should pop in that "Rare Replay" game and play banjo kazooie.

Even if you've never played Crash, or you like it but you're not a huge fan, I recommend buying it or at least buy it for someone you know if u just have an extra $40. With the success of Ratchet and Clank being remade and then the likely success of Crash being remade, it could lead to more older games being brought back to life.

I don't like collectathon platformers. I don't understand why 3D platformers revolve around collecting x of y before you can progress to the next stage. Bugs the crap out of me as just a way to extend the length of the game.

Yep! Serious talk.. this will be my first time playing. Played a little as a kid on others PS1 but never really played.
I'm excite. Bought the SO the Trilogy on PS3 store when we first got together. She doesn't game, but was awesome at it. Shocked.
