I also got stuck on the Target fools gold for a while. I eventually scored MK Bundles from both Best Buy and Walmart - 1 for me and 1 for my mom!!
I still also have the Nintendo shop lottery, so if I get that I’ll sell it to friends or family at cost.
I’m happy I get to skip the Gamestop madness!

I was on Best Buy's website at 1:10 AM... the waiting in line thing took 20 minutes only for it to say there was an error. Went back to sleep.. frick that. I'll get one when I get one.

Yeah, I'm usually not one for third party reselling at the launch of a console, but the Nintendo lottery hitting after the retailers preorder may be a license to print money for a single console.

Sometimes I get a gray ore order tab sometimes a gray not available tab. Other times crash. Doesn’t let me do anything with the ore order tab though.

Tariffs are hammering all the flippers and drop shippers, this is their saving grace. When they realize nobody is gonna pay 700 for a switch, they will stop buying up stock.
By Christmas I suspect if you want a switch 2, you'll have a switch 2.

bad Gateway error the entire time from Gamestop. Surprise surprise the MK Switch 2 bundle page is working again and UNAVAILABLE.

yeah, I'm getting close to giving up and just assuming bots ate all the stock up while it was crashing intermittently.
It's just weird. From what I experienced I don't see how anyone could have gotten a pre-order. from 11:00 it was crash then immediately "Not Available".

Sometimes just the influx traffic for the looky-loos and the genuinely interested is enough to keep anybody from being able to buy them, other than the random connection that goes through for an individual buyer.
I assume that's what happened with Walmart last night, and why an hour after the sales went live I was able to get mine.

UPDATE:
You inspired me to be persistent, and I was able to get a Mario Kart World edition and Switch2 Pro Controller pre-ordered. about 11:34 I noticed the "Not Available" button was red instead of grey. I went ahead and clicked it anyway and it added it to my cart and I was able to immediately check out.
I'm sure it'll be delivered sometime between 7pm on launch day and the end of that week, lol.

I got all the credit card info in, and hit place order. It did nothing, and of course refreshing goes back to bad gateway and now it's out of stock.

So you never got a confirmation. Check your order history and just see if it went through but it crashed before you got the screen..
I got to an order confirmation screen with a confirmation number, but I have not yet received they confirmation email that it says was sent so I'm nervous now, lol.
