One change to the eShop that I'm not digging is that there used to be a Games with Demos button on the Search screen. Now you have to look for a blue Demo Available banner on the thumbnail of other lists.

Is the Mario Kart bundle really just the same package with a sticker on it and the game inside?

ETA: My preorder from Game Stop was for each separately. Still deciding if I'll get the bundle when Nintendo contacts me.

You get the game for like $20 or $30 cheaper with the bundle. I would have gotten it if Target had them. I would stick with the bundle if I were you.

There isn’t a physical game cartridge inside. The console comes with it preloaded I believe

Oh. Huge negative for me. I'll stick with what I have.

I will say this. If you’re a fan of physical games, having a “physical copy” doesn’t really mean anything anymore. The game cartridge that you would get is nothing more than a digital code. There’s no actual game data on the cartridge. So one way or the other, you’re playing a digital game that Nintendo could theoretically take away at any point. Having the “physical copy” won’t prevent that even if you pop it in offline.

I didn't have to download the game. There was a patch that took about 10 seconds to download, and that was it. If the game isn't on this card, they did a good job making it seem like it is.

That is a horrible box design.

Yes it's terrible packing by Nintendo or whoever they hired to do the packing anyway. Saw many others noting it as well in response to staple-gate. It makes the screen extremely vulnerable to taking damage in general. Stapling shite to the box was dumb for reasons I already explained but at least a fair # of boxes getting slightly punctured or slightly pushed in from above seems inevitable when you're shipping tens of millions of these things around the world. Box really should have been designed so the screen was more central in the middle of it.

Nah I get where you're coming from and do know companies are doing that. Just saying it doesn't seem like that happened here.

There will be a sticker on the box with "GAME-KEY CARD" those are just a key, not an actual physical copy.

Just started playing The Wind Waker, and first thing I had to do was invert the camera rotation. That was about to drive me crazy.

I'm still a little mad we got this version first instead of the HD remaster

Still hoping for that to come out next year for the 40th anniversary.

I've owned it on the Wii U virtual console, and had the silver GameCube that was the Zelda special edition, but am ashamed to say I've never completed it.

I played it when it first came out, and I expected to hate it because I did not like the cartoony graphics.

I found literally everything in that game. Searched every patch of water, all of it.

At the time, I remember making it to the first goblin stronghold/fortress, but playing through the tutorial home island, I don't recall any of this

Having a blast on Mario Kart World. Already beat all the Grand Prix on 50cc and did a Knockout Circuit, some online matches and free roam.

I don’t know what some of the reviewers I’ve been watching are smoking or what they expected but I’ve thoroughly enjoyed everything so far. The only thing I wish they would give is an option for is changing Grand Prix to the traditional 3 laps at the courses. I like driving to them but I would like more time on the actual courses in single player

I've never touched Wind Walker, 99% because I have somewhere south of zero interest in the graphics.

What Im holding out for is a legitimate remaster of A Link to the Past and or Ocarina of Time. Not a port or remake, but an actual remaster in the likes of Link's Awakening.

An A Link to the Past remaster would sell half a billion copies in the first week.

The fact that it's not remastered and in 3d is just pure fricking lazyness by Nintendo(this should come as no suprise)

They literally have every asset as well as a completely functional engine and physics from Link Between Worlds. If they wanted money they would put 5 people working on a combo release of both in 3d for switch and switch 2. But nope, typical Nintendo shite.

I don't even need 3d, just use the same engine/animation from Link's awakening and I'm set.
